Since we love to play in the world of speculation, here's one to vote on.
Assume that all trades go through as they are currently positioned (We think.). We end up with the protected Lakers pick, which could become the Sac '19 pick.
If you had a choice right now, which one would you pick? If you pick the Lakers, you know that you are getting a 2-5 pick, no questions asked. It's next year and there are tons of big men available. Imagine ending up with #1 and #2?
If you take Sacramento, though, you have a shot at #1. Sacramento is one of the worst run organizations in the NBA, so the chances that they'll still be bad two years from now is pretty high. And we have no Brooklyn pick that year.

Probably Lakers. We could end up with two of Ayton/Porter/Bamba/Doncic if it's in that 2-4 range.
If we can snag Ayton and Porter, then all the negative I've said about trading the #1 will be taken back.

I voted Sacramento as I'd love to get a shot at Marvin Bagley. As been mentioned he's a once in a decade type prospect.
-
Lakers, as that would most likely mean 2 of the top 5 picks in a big man heavy draft.
-
Tatum in 2017
Ayton in 2018
Bagley in 2019
PG ??????????
SG Jaylen Brown
SF Jayson Tatum
PF Marvin Bagley
C Deandre Ayton
76ers who?

Ignoring draft strength (since I have no clue), I think it'd probably be better roster and salary wise to spread the picks out, since the C's have the Nets '18 which hopes to be another top 5 pick, I'd rather have Sacramento's 2019 pick.
Fun fact, the Kings have had a Top-10 pick for 9 straight seasons now.
Hoping the C's continue to be competitive for the foreseeable future, and it's hard enough for one rookie to get playing time in a situation like that, let alone two.
Of course with trader Danny, who knows who will even be on the roster next year or what he can flip two top-5 picks in '18 for.
-
Lakers pick for sure. That's two "shots on goal" for the best big man lottery class in a long time.
-
Easily the lakers pick. Trying to imagine ending up with the #1 pick this far out is just too much. The odds that it happens are pretty astronomical. Just give me 2-5 next year and I'm good.
-
Lakers 2018. I'll take a guaranteed 2-5 pick over a wildcard nearly every time.
Although it would be nice to have a team to root against in 2018-19, too

That'll be Memphis, to a certain extent. The pick is top 8 protected, then top 6 in '20, then unprotected in '21.
The Clippers pick is lottery protected in 2019.

Went with the Lakes because I'm not getting any younger. Who knows if I'll still be around in 2019.
-
Lakers...2018 draft looks deep with bigs
-
The Sac pick is number one protected. Even without that I rather have the Lakers pick.
-
Lakers...top 5 is SWEET!
Can't have #1 but still!!
-
That changes things as 2019 pick is Marvin Bagley protected. I'd like to change my vote to the LAL pick now.
-
So what if the Lakers get the 6th pick next year and Sacramento gets the first in 2019 and Philly finishes out of the lottery? We get fleeced, that's what. Likely won't happen but there is a chance.

Which ever one ends up being the #2 pick.
