I do see a lot of people that feel like the series is already over from having lost game 1 at home and wanted to add some objective math. Vegas still has Celtics as decent favorites to win the series. If you bet 100 dollars on the Celtics to win the series you would get back about 76 bucks (plus the money you bet). If you bet 100 dollars on the bulls you would get 130 dollars back (plus the 100 you bet). Don't know if this is useful for anyone but wanted to share the info based on some of the stuff I have seen here.

The series is certainly not over, and the Celts could yet win it.
However, I have learned all I need to know through the 82-game regular season and 1st playoff game for the off-season moves.
We know their strengths and their weaknesses. I don't expect to be surprised even as I cheer them to win.
Danny's time to act is approaching. He failed me at the trade deadline, but perhaps he will provide the fireworks this summer.

I am frustrated we didn't get a role player type rebounder at break also.

No question that Ainge quit on the season at the deadline, and equally no question that no one should be surprised by what happened Sunday.

Well, if we're talking numbers and factors to consider moving forward in the series, so far in these playoffs (and generally speaking in the NBA playoffs over NBA history) the team with the best player tends to win.
Other factors to keep an eye on:
- Which team wins the rebound battle
- Which team hits more threes
- Which team takes & makes more free throws
I like the Celts to win the three point battle in this series, but rebounds, free throws, and which team's top guy is more dominant are areas of concern.

Recommendation: don't take those odds.

It turns out that rebounding and having the best player in the series matter.
I was wrong about this team's core group. I don't think this is a formula that's going to lead to playoff success. This team is not one player away.
