Don't have a lot of cash to spend but I want to do something really really nice for my wife. Looking for ideas from my fellow bloggers. Thanks in advance.

In terms of a wedding? A ring? A present? A gesture?

Turn off the TV for 24 hours. Make her coffee and just chat until she's had enough.
-
Make her a nice dinner with flowers. Take her on a walk at the park, museum, or whatever she might like.

Traditionally, cotton is the gift for a second anniversary.

Plan a day for her with some of her favorite activities and a nice dinner at the end. Look for things you can do cheaply if money's an issue, like outdoor activities or just chilling with a drink somewhere. Make the dinner if that's something you're decent at. Just show her you're thinking about her and what she likes.
If the anniversary's too busy to do a bunch of stuff that day, set it up so at least some of the activities are redeemable later. My wife and I rarely exchange gifts for anything, but once in a while we'll surprise each other with something like this and it's far better for us than just designated exchanges of stuff.

What climate do you live in? Picnic at the beach always makes the ladies swoon. Hiking and stuff like that will work if you're that type of people. If you're going to go the fancy dinner route, dm me. I'm the king of simple/easy yet delicious recipes. I've hooked up many of brothers with some serious dishes.

simple. most guys think it is things that a wife wants. not really.
buy her something modest, but you know she likes. then, add in this...
you will do one chore in the house that she normally does, forever. doesnt matter what the chore is, you take it over.
i bet you she will like that a lot. plus, it shows that what you really care about is taking care of her, helping her, and that you can be trusted to be there for her.
oh, and never mention to her later how you are doing this for her. do it without moaning and groaning...ever.
good luck. ;D

A tradition 2nd anniversary gift is cotton. You can probably find something made of cotton that doesn't kill the wallet.
(my wife is big into traditional gifts so I always look up the years material)

Give her lots of money and terminate this thread. I am sure that's what she wants.
-
Just try hard and she will love the effort.

How'd this resolve itself?
