Title: Hi from Europe
Post by: BE-Celtic on January 15, 2017, 10:44:09 AM
Hi everyone !

First post on this forum, but I've been reading it for a very long time actually. I know everything already already : Start Kelly, trade IT, give us a rebounder :D

I come from Belgium, not sure there's someone else from this country here, but I guess there must be some europeans... So yeah, I have to stay awake late in order to see the Celtics play but it's east coast at least !

I got struck by NBA fever 5 or 6 years ago, and instantly became a Celtics fan, so I'm still doing my homework on Celtics history but I'm getting better every day :D

Anyway, thank you for having me in your community, looking forward to discussing NBA with people from everywhere.

Big welcome, from your neighbour from the Netherlands...

Your intro sounds familiar, great tip: buy NBA league pass and watch the game the next day. Make sure you avoid internet until you have seen the game. Been doing it like this now for 7 seasons and it works amazing.

For me its not do-able to watch all the games in night with work the next day. With this structure it still feels the game is live for me while I watch it the next day after work.

Thanks, that sounds good ! I've considered doing this for a while actually. I'll just need to find a way not to spoil myself in the morning ! :D

Welcome to CB!

I am in the Boston area but wake up around 5:00am so I often miss the game live, especially if it's a road game.  I watch it the next day if there is a CSN replay of the game, or simply watch the 9 minute Full Game Highlights on YouTube.
