No mention of gambling, just seems to be a case of no effort at all.

Thoroughly unlikable guy who gives up when he knows he's going to lose but he is a big Celtics fan so I find it a little hard to completely detest him.

what's odd is he was playing a qualifier, not some top tier player.  doesn't make any sense.
