 My thought is that 10 or so unsolved homicides/missing persons cases in a dozen years in a major American metropolitan area, while tragic, isn't very surprising.

Honestly, I'm afraid that Michael Kelleher will be found in the Charles River. This mystery eerily similar to these other cases.

Actually, most of those are solved. Suicide, exposure, accidental falls, blood sugar disorientation...many of them have more reasonable explanations than Jack the Dipper.
