just curious..
anyone know if the "latest forum topics" are coming back to the front page ever or is this a permanent change?

I am usually a lurker but do have an account. I like having the Latest Forum Topics on the front page.

I've also noticed that on a few occasions recently the Forum button on the header is completely disappeared and there is no way to access the Forums.

Furthermore I've noticed that no Moderators or CelticsBlog staff has commented on this situation. In this thread or another thread on a similar subject.

What's up? Looks like a phase out of the Forums from where I'm standing...
If so, you will largely loose my clicks and I would imagine many others.

I don't know why this just showed up on my computer.  I have found, when the Forum button is not on the header it can be found under "More" on the header.  Hope this helps.

It's currently being worked on.  Not to disclose too many trade secrets, but CB is one of a small handful of SBN blogs that has forums.  We may be unique in running SMF software.  That means that any time there needs to be any major work done with the forums, or on the front page related to the forums, SBN needs to hire an independent contractor to do the work.

Right now, I think the contractor has been retained, and is working on it.
