Spanoulis came over for a little while after having already been highly successful in Europe. He was okay but not overly impressive.
Spanish Chocolate played a couple years in the league, but couldn't really establish a role.
Look at what Jan Vesely is doing for the Czech Republic. He struggled as a young NBA player, but is playing like a star in Europe.
It takes patience for a Euro to make it in the NBA. Some of these guys can make huge money and be superstars for teams competing for titles back home rather than struggle to carve out a role in the NBA.
It's no surprise to me that many choose the former path.

TP for the find. I haven't read the whole thing yet, but I'm impressed by that guy as a writer. Pretty cool stuff, good stories, well written.

What Celtics18 said ....
Most European top players preffer to stay in Europe where they get the superstar treatment rather than coming of the bench for 10-12mins per game. Drazen did that , he went through a lot in order to make it in the NBA but at that time NBA seemed unreachable to the Europeans. Today it doesn`t look such an impossible task. Most of them sign a contract just to get a taste of an NBA season and then return to europe
There is also the unique case of Diamantidis who has absolutely no interest in the NBA !

Let s go Serbia!!! :D

Hail to diamantidis

Serbia has the easiest path to the final but also one of the top 2 teams in the tournament. Teodosic when playing for the NT is the best pg in Europe by far!
@konkmv tp for liking 3D
