Post by: ederson on August 01, 2015, 07:15:35 AM
Vasilis Charalampopoulos......
18y.o. 6.8 , forward

He is known commodity among the scouters. Yesterday in the quarterfinal of the U18 European Championship against France had 13p 10r 11as (10 of them in the first half!) Here is a tribute video made by FIBA https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=51&v=yCn4LuIT9IE.

The kid knows how to ball. He hustles , he passes , he can make the 3p. He is not the best athlete but we`ve seen much inferior Euros making in to the NBA

So did they make adjustments on him or did he go cold?

I would call him Lamp.

He took more shots. He made a couple of 3s that gave to his team 10p lead. H had a great game against Team USA in the world championship a month ago
Today at 20.15 CET is the semifinal against Lithuania.

I ve not been this impressed by a young player since i first saw Diamantidis.

He will be draft eligible this season, correct?  With a bazillion 2nd round picks this season, I think the Celtics really need a deep Int'l crop this year so they have the option of a few draft and stashes.  That is one tactic that they haven't really utilized to date that I think they need to look into more.  It is a way of deferring development to someone else's roster, while maintaining the option of adding some cheaper you talent down the road.
