Hi there - my wife and I are visiting from Canada and got tickets to the Game 4 on Sunday. Was wondering if anyone had:
1. Any tips for a first timer going to TD Garden? Best way to get to the game? Staying at the Fairmont Copley if that changes anything regarding mode of transportation.
2. Recommendations for places to go to pre-game likely in and around the arena?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's been years since I lived in Boston, so I'm no good for pre-game.
But considering you are a block away from the Copley T stop, taking the Green Line to North Station seems like a no-brainer.
Hope you packed your lungs: I want to hear you on Sunday's telecast!

Wear green. Scream loudly.
Congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Yeah, the Green line to North Station. Just leave well before game-time, because the T will be full.
In terms of pre-game, I like The Fours. http://thefours.com/boston/

Go to North End for a good Italian dinner. Lot's of great restaurants there. Close to Garden.
