Sullinger vs Cousins is going to be a very interesting matchup. Cousins is a talented load, and a legit center. Can sullinger out think, and out hustle him on the boards, in the paint?

This should quite easily be one of the most posted-in game threads considering the popularity of DMC in C'sBlog nation. :D I'm just waiting to personally witness an actual game (and not just a peak at a boxscore) where he actually seems worthy of the superlatives heaped on him. I haven't seen a lot of cousins, but in general i think he could be a major force, when he is on a competent team.

Rondo, Cousins, Sully, Green would be a good core to build around.
He basically is the type of player Sully is and hopefully what Sully grows into. We need different skill sets.

Being 7 foot with those skills helps. Sullinger is barely 6-9. He might be shorter than jeff green.
I could dig a double down low threat in sully and cousins, like Memphis with Randolph and gasol.

Yeah, I would take that chemistry risk. Cousins appears to be a lot like Rasheed Wallace. Cousins is a talented hothead, but knows how to play the game and use his body.
Imagine if Wallace had the beefy body of a true center and didn't camp out at the 3 point line.

I would trade that package if the pick was the number 5.
But if it is 1-4, i want to keep it. Those top 3-4 guys have great potential talent and great attitudes.

That says a lot about cousins. To quietly get 31 and 16 is really impressive. His defense on the otherhand, not so impressive. The guy needs to raise his arms a little more often.

Sully is worth 10 million per year right now. If he takes another leap forward next year, he will be worth the max.
He is putting up 13 and 8 in only 27 mpg. The next step would be to put up 20 and 10 or 18 and 11 in 36 mpg. That has more to do with his weight and conditioning more than anything.
I was ridiculously excited during this game. Really loved watching it.

DMC ...could make the Celtics , with proper coaching and right cast would be a respectable playoff team
