I don't doubt that Sullinger takes Bass' spot in the lineup eventually, but judging by Stevens' comments about Sullinger looking better than when he first saw him, then I think he has a bit to go before he's truly back and starting over a vet.
Very interested to see how Bradley fares as a PG after his first summer as a pro that he works on his game instead of rehabbing post-surgery. According to reports, he spent the summer working on his ball-handling and shooting.

General question, looking for opinions:Nice post. I think what you can learn is which rookies are NBA material. Of course the injury bounce backs are key to watch too.
Can anything be learned or suggested about the C's during the pre-season?
My opinion is that little will be learned definitively other than whether Sully looks like he's pre-surgery Sully. I think we can get a feel for whether the rookies and younger players belong in the league. This applies primarily to KO, Pressey and Feverani. I think we'll see whether Wallace and Humphries become fan favorites (right now I think both could). I'd like to see AB and JG look like they could take their games to another level.

If this is basically what we see from this team night in night out, I'll be thrilled. We may lose a lot of games, but this team will be fun to watch and I think we'll be competitive in most games. Hard to tell how this group will jell (or the impact Rondo and Stephens will have), but I like the talent, focus, and the grit in this first half of a pre-season game.

Predictions:
Bradley has more turnovers than assists but shoots 50%+ from the field. He doesn't get to the line.
Phil Pressey plays for no more than ten minutes, is a non-entity, except in this thread.
Sullinger takes up most of our minutes at center.
Jeff Green is not compared to James Worthy this year.
Bass played horrible defense. Rotations were there; but a little late. Faverani looked out of synch; but could be OK if he settles in.
Olynyk / Sullinger > Bass Humphries
If we can start Olynyk & Sulinger and bring Humphries & Faverani off the bench we might have something. Bass not impressing at the moment.
Also like Olynk and Humphries together since they can both run the floor.

The way I see it is that any decent team that feels like playing hard on any given night will beat this team handily. They will steall a few wins here and there with their hustle and after the trade deadline a lot of guys on last night's roster will be playing elsewhere.
When Rondo comes back, I think this team could pull off a few surprise wins during the season but we're a mid-level lottery team as constituted. need to move some vets for young players/picks and add a very good FA in 2015 (to add to our hopefully very talented young core -- including the stud we hope to get in the next draft) and I think the C's will be on the rise sooner than people expect.
Teams are going to score a lot of points on the C's.And the C's aren't going to score a lot of points.

Crawford totally outplayed him on the offensive end of the game, and when they were both on the floor it was really revealing that Bradley struggled to guard DeRozan--an average size spotty shooting SG.
