Title: Nate Robinson UNREAL
Post by: bobbyv on April 27, 2013, 05:23:38 PM
He scored 23 points in the 4th Quarter to force overtime with his team down by 14 with only 2:53 on the clock and get the win in 3OT!

No let him stay at the Bulls, he is doing a great job over there.
He wouldnt get any PT anyway with Doc here.

The Bulls are what we should be. Tough, tough, tough. No bs, actually tough. And enough guys who can create to matter. They never give up, even if its game 39 and the 5th straight one on the road

Another reason the perk trade sucked....Nate was probably the best back up we ever had for rondo

That ends Nates night. 34 Point, fouled out with a potential 3rd OT on the way.

Really not at all surprised by this, its what Nate Robinson does. He scores points, plays hard, and annoys the living crap out of his teammates and coaching staff.

Yet if he somehow came back here, I'm pretty sure he'd suddenly be unable to consistently score (see: Terry, Lee, Marbury)

Not fair to pick on Marbury haha!
He was way out of shape when we brought him in, think he didnt play 2/3 of a whole season if I remember correctly :D

Nate robinson just won the bulls a playoff game, while we remain winless. and theres people on here that have the nerve to say not bring nate back?

Not only the game, but the series really. Only 8 teams have come back from a 3-1 deficit, and the Nets will NOT be one of them.

Wow that's insane. Good for Nate. Always liked him and the nets are my second least favorite team
To the heat.

I'd much rather have nate on MLE than Terry right now

Becuase Nate rebonison is going to make us a finals contender next year.........  ::)

I like Nate, and im glad he was doing well. The year he was here with Shaq was probably the most fun iv ever had watching the celtics.

He has played better than terry this year though ill give him that. Averaged more points and ast in less minutes

I miss Nate and donkey.  Terry lee Wilcox could not hold their jock.

For Nate to go off on people you'd have to get rid of Doc.  Doc kept his hands tied.  Personally, I think Nate is fool's gold sure he will win you a game every once in a while and show maddening talent at times but most of the time, let's be honest, it's bone headed decisions and lackluster play.

love Nate , but he isn't consistent,   too much of risk like JET,  we get him back and he'll shoot. 30 percent for Boston.

Crawford and BArbosa, can have their moments and explod for a bunch, and still not be such a defensive liability as Nate

I'll have Barbosa if healthy this time around. He's much cheaper and just as good as Nate (if not better).

Nate has a heart twice as big as most players.
He's capable of ballistic effort and remarkable
results.

Nate's play has been surprising. Glad for him, he was easy to route for, even though he's a complete bonehead. However, if we had re-signed him here, Doc wouldn't give him nearly as many minutes as he's getting in Chicago, because of some of the stoooopid stuff he does. But where would the Bulls be without him this year?

nate is too inconsistent, but yeah, i think any celtics fan should be happy to see him do well (so long as its not against us). the guy played hard and well for us, and was, from all accounts, a great teammate. that he had this insane game vs. the frauds that are the nets (they are the most overrated team in the nba) makes me smile even more. hope chicago ends that series in 5.

Me and Rip Hamilton, we tease each other when we're shooting, saying who's hotter. I always tell him, 'I always think I'm on fire.' Kind of like the old-school game NBA Jam. You make a couple, the rim's on fire. When you shoot the ball, the ball's on fire. I feel like that at times-well, all the time-whenever I'm in the game. I just play with a lot of confidence and you've kind of got to lie to yourself, and feel like you can't miss that.

Quote
"I tease Coach a lot because it seems like every shot I shoot, he's mad regardless, but at the same time, it's basketball. He does a great job of putting us in position to be successful and it's kind of cool because Coach kind of asks us what we want to run when we're hot, what kind of plays we want to run. I just told him, 'Don't call a play for me. Just let the ball find me and we just run the regular offense that we've been running,' and it worked."

Quote
"Everybody knows Coach is a drill sergeant, but he has a heart somewhere in there. I know he does," he continued. "He smiles every little blue moon and it's good to see because as hard as the work we put into it, it's good to see that Coach really appreciates it. He doesn't really show it, but he really does, you can tell."
