Would proabaly be the most impressive win of the year if we pull it off.

Where are you getting that from.....
wow...this gonna be a tuff one. Pacers have so many weapons , seems unfair,
a win would be awesome ,
but not holding my breath. , as its a back to back road trip.
Really surprised this game isn’t on ESPN, they usually have a double header on Wednesday’s, but tonight they only have one game, Spurs/Bulls, not that that one’s a bad choice, but I don’t get League Pass, and live slightly out of market, so all I get is national tv games. Celtics/Pacers is clearly one of the top 2 match ups of the 14 games that will be played tonight.
Stupid college conference tournament games >:(
Wait. So you're telling me George Hill and Courtney Lee are not related?

Lol I thought the same
thing I was like wait a minute... What the...???
Doc needs to put Bass on the bench, he's overmatched no matter who's guarding at the moment. We need more length/beef on the floor.
Hibbert for seventy boards,.............
What is Bass' purpose in life? Because it sure as hell ain't basketball ???
Smart play by Pierce getting Hibberts second foul
Bass is killing us
Bass is the worst starter in the NBA.
Bass is killing us
Has Bass played the whole first quarter?
Posting Green on Paul George is a very idiotic game plan.
Wow, Bass is just terrible. Doc, can you freaking sit him already!!!!!!!! [dang]it, why do you have to be such a stubborn moron.
Hey Doc, those two big strangers that have been carrying your bags are now eligible to play.
bASS wow. his name really fits his game
Posting Green on Paul George is a very idiotic game plan.
Yep. George is taller and faster that Green. I don't understand the insistence to post him up against George.
Hey Doc, those two big strangers that have been carrying your bags are now eligible to play.
Nah, let's just keep Bass in there. :-\
Saved by the bell.Sad but true. This is not gonna be a game for much longer...
I'm already sold that White is better than Bass.
I'm already sold that White is better than Bass.
Then you're terribly mistaken. Bass is an NBA player for a reason, one that makes lots of $$$

Mistaken? Have you been watching Bass? There is a history of players with regrettable contacts. Bass is one of them.

There's no way you can make a judgment this quickly...
Bass isn't nearly as bad as you guys all portray him to be. He's starter talent, at the least.
How good we look without Bass on the floor.
Ohh no, Bass is checking back in...
For once, I would like to see Bass contest a shot.
8 to 2 foul disparity in the second quarter. Somethiing isn't right here.
Bass comes in, Pacers go on a run. ???Im not a Bass fan either. But the Pacer run was in no way his fault
Bass -12.
Seriously, what's this Bass-bashing that has been going on as of late? Stop pretending like he's the only reason the team is struggling.
Captain isn't playing well, the Pacers play with so much more energy, mostly thanks to Lance Stephenson and thus, they have got to the line.
Seven point deficit under these circumstances isn't that bad.
These refs are garbage by the way. I feel like I say that every game.Every other game, and it's not even funny anymore. We haven't had 2 well officiated games in a row for ages...
Brandon, is that you?

I don't know what the heck Pierce is doing in this game.Apparently not caring. He's already going into the Hall and is getting his number retired. Why try too hard anymore lol
Pacers are a match-up nightmare for our regular rotation.
Bass is killing this team.
Doc is a great coach, just too prideful I guess, he believes in what he believes even if its not working. Please don't play Bass anymore in this game, He's can't guard anybody in the Pacers.
Bass checks out and we go on a 6-0 run. Interesting.

If i had to put my money on the line Id pick the pacers in a 7 game series.

I'm not the biggest fan of +/-. But Bass leads this team in the - column almost every night.
If Doc doesn't insert Bass for the rest of the game, we'll win by 20.

Yeah, he's a net -9.5 per 100 poss. on the year...they allow about 6 less points on defense and score 3.5 more points on offense without him on the floor.
I wonder what happened to Brandon?
I mean last year he playing well and had everyone thinking Danny made a steal with the BBD/Bass trade and now he's playing horrible.
Indiana does have a 9 point spread...

If I wore a Pacer uniform, and drove the paint, I bet they would call the foul.
DJ White played well tonight. 2 boards and 2 blocks in 4 minutes. I like.

I bet you would be ejected by security. How much are ya in for?

And he doesn't see the floor again lol
Impressive. Thought this was over. C's come back as Pacers go ice cold.
What is up with the no call?
What is up with the no call?par for the course tonight. awful refs. we've gotten pretty badly hosed on a lot of calls and no-calls.
Boy, these guys are fun to watch. They never relent.
Win or Lose, I love this team, they will never quit. Ever.

TP for actually seeming to enjoy this entertainment product. Rare quality in game threads.Win or Lose, I love this team, they will never quit. Ever.
Hey, you too sir. And I agree. Question strategy, question decisions, NEVER question will.
All the Doc bashing then......boom!!!
Great win!
I didn't notice at first that Jeff mishandled the pass -- should been an oop. Nonetheless, nice job putting that one home.
Great win.

Watching the replay, KG threw it behind him. Poor timing, but excellent execution til then and we finished it anyway.
i had a feeling when paul was smiling he wasnt gettin it. UNREALL WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :o

I called the win! You're welcome! :)
I'm just glad Doc finally sat Bass when it was needed... almost too late, but he did it.

bout damm time. geez.
Jeff Green = Our new crunch time player
Considering this was the 2nd night of a back to back on the road against the best defensive team in the league, I'd definitely call this the most impressive win of the season.
I said before the game this would be the most impressive win of the year if we pull it off, unreal.
Jeff Green = Our new crunch time player
I love Green. That Perk trade was great!!!

Maybe DA should trade your hero Bass....... LoL .... ;D

Also got to give KG a lot of credit. He held Hibbert scoreless in the second half.

I'm not sure if he could get a half eaten ham sandwich for him.
yeah, we had absolutely no business winning this game. poor shooting outside of KG, Indy was shooting well until the end, Indy was extremely energetic and constantly hustling and receiving a number of very generous calls.I said before the game this would be the most impressive win of the year if we pull it off, unreal.
well the miami and OKC wins are just as good to me however what makes this win HUUUUUGE is everything went against us. turnovers, fouls, horrid officiating...and we pulled it out with .5 seconds left. wow. that is overcoming adversity if i have seen it this year.

I rank those a notch below this win because those games we won at home. Plus I don't believe those games were on the second of back to backs.
Just saw the game winner...Green saved KG's ass there haha
I was more referring to the pass. KG airmailed that pass, but Jeff hauled it in.Just saw the game winner...Green saved KG's ass there haha
According to Pierce's post-game interview Green was the first option on that play, with Pierce getting the ball only if West had been able to stay on Jeff.

I thought they were done when the Pacers hit those 3 3 pointers. Great defense and even better execution. Our guards really made it hard on the Pacers in the fourth. Jason Terry was huge with two deflections leading to transition baskets to get them back into the game. Celtics held the Pacers to 36.4% shooting. Everyone on the Celtics that played contributed tonight with the exception of you know who.

Mike Gorman (or someone) remarked during a time out, with few minutes to go in the 4th, that Doc got on Terry for the way he was defending someone. After that, Terry play great both defensively and offensively.
Anyone have video of the final play from the CSN broadcast? I watched it live on my league pass but they had the Indy broadcast... would love to hear Mike & Tommy's call.

Yup. We would've been talking about KG's fluke and inability to do a simple pass had it not been for Green's good hands. The pass was really high and Green had to reach high to get it.

Found the Indiana feed, and developed all sorts of new levels of appreciation for Mike Gorman. KG didn't airmail that pass in my opinion, it was were it was intended. I think in part they wanted some sort of alley-oop opportunity, but it came off a bit mistimed, particularly considering that KG did have 7'1 player on him.
That was an easy catch for Green, it was the correct type of pass, but not a perfect pass or really that good of a pass, but it wasn't as egregious as it's being made out to be.
I think they are, I think more of Paul George than Danny Granger. I also think their rotation is more settled. I don't think they've jumped to contender, but I think they're better.
Indiana doesn't seem any more formidable than they did last year. Very good defense, pedestrian offense. I don't have any idea what their offensive rating is but I think they'd have trouble scoring when things get tight.
Hibbert's overall offensive funk has been a huge problem for them though.I was less then impressed with Hibbert yesterday, even in the first quarter. Constantly caught flat-footed, very little motor, no idea how to score in isolation.
