Maybe nets are the third team that can make all of this happen
To Hawks: Wallace, Bass + cash (from nj)
To Nets: Pierce, Smith
To Celtics: Humphries, Brooks, Teletovic, Nets 1st and Hawks 1st + cash (from nj)
Forget about how the nets look, bc after the trade they will have a near all star team. But how do you like the return for us??
Starting lineup without KG gone
Starting = KG - Humphries - Green - AB - Lee
Bench = Teletovic, Brooks, Terry, T Williams, Collins, Melo
BC to me Green is ready to step in for prime time action, the loss of Pierce is not that bad. Especially when you get some nice young players, Humphries at least can rebound plus 2 first round pick.

So the Hawks not only give up the best player in the trade, they take on the two worst contracts and give up a #1. Come on have a bit of common sense before you post nonsense.

A little bit harsh but i agree

If Hawks get Pierce for Smith, is that considered nonsense?
You are not going to get the world for Smith. Hawks to me would ideally like a nice young talent, but at bare min at least some decent players in return. They are pretty empty in the sf position.
Wallace the last time i checked is a pretty good darn sf and signed for another 4 years. Bass is also a decent player.
The Hawks have problems even attracting decent FA's in the off season

The Hawks are crazy to even trade Josh Smith... ??? to get who
