I love how they are feeding Green the ball right now to pump up his trade value, and they are posing Melo on the sideline but not letting him on the court in order to maximize his.

The whole idea of it is crazy. Danny Ainge wouldn't possibly trade Fab Melo? When he is a GM known to take a call on anyone?

That's the catch, if they let him play his value would fall. That's how bad he is at the moment. At least now he is a 'project'. :)

Why oh why. We need BIGS not guards. I mean, getting a guard would be nice but getting a big who can allow us to not suck when KG sits is about 100 times more pressing right now.

Why oh why. We need BIGS not guards. I mean, getting a guard would be nice but getting a big who can allow us to not suck when KG sits is about 100 times more pressing right now.
Maybe this is a sign we are getting big in another deal... Deandre Jordan, Josh Smith, DMC, D12? That's what this could all mean... Who knows? Well I guess Danny does !

I'm thinking saying a player is "available" is a new way to get attention, hits, whatever as a reporter without being able to be held accountable if nothing happens.
If there's a trade: "I told you he was available!"
If there isn't: "No one took them up on it"

I pretty much assumed he was always available.
And I don't see any team getting all excited about Fab. He's certainly not (in my opinion) going to get us the better big we need.

Didn't we just sign Terrence Williams?
We need bigs! And even though he's not fully ready in the NBA level, he's one of our few bigs left, why give it away for a guard when we just signed one.

TP. Even with the injuries, we need guard help as much as ... well, we just don't need it.
Seriously, can't he sell someone on Melo's potential in exchange for a halfway decent big who isn't getting much PT on his current team (like Dalembert)? Throw in some cash and a second-round pick to make it happen, because this team isn't winning a title without another quality big.

I loved that commercial, TP. And I remember when Delonte West was a fresh faced youngster. Time flies. Hope Delonte is doing well, wherever he is.
