So, I saw Doc's interview pre-game last night and at first I didn't think much about it but it's been on my mind all day.
Doc said that the reason we didn't get an injury exception is because RR said in an interview that he would be back... now, if there is no way for RR to come back wouldn't they be able to prove that to the league? Why would RR saying that be taken into consideration if there wasn't a possibility that he could come back? Doc goes on to say that he wants RR to rush back, he wants him to come back as fast as possible. Also, RR was able to perform on the tear as he always had, so after surgery on the partial tear could a couple months be enough and would we let RR try to play (because there is no question he would want to)?

Now, I could be wanting it to be true more than the reality that it could happen... what do you guys think?

No chance. Even if he recovers in record time, it'd still be about 6 months.

Gave you a TP purely for the detective work and the wishful thinking.

So why couldn't we get the exception?

I think the injury occurred too late in the season.

A team can only apply for an in-season injury exception before January 15.

Yea, I forgot about that. Still, they need to do something about that... has there been an instance of losing 3 key players for the season? KG and PP are depressed after Bosa went down, KG pretty much said it broke them mentally.

In post game interviews when all of them were asked (Doc,KG, and PP), implied that Bosa was kinda the straw that broke the camels back... said it was very mentally draining for them. ESPNforsberg, Mike Petraglia, Ben Rohrbach, and Celtics have youtube channels with pre/post game interviews. I don't remember exactly which videos but they all look mentally and physically spent.
