19th @Denver
-
stop jinxing it!
-
Don't want to jinx but after yesterday we will probably end the streak today.
-
tonight, if KG and Pierce don't play.

wouldn't be all surprised ..........I'm worn slap out from just watching the game
it was marathon ......mental an physical for the team
-
Tonight.
-
My guess is tonight.
-
Next season. :D
-
I think we've got enough to get by Charlotte - they have worse bigs than we do. So I'm guessing Chicago will get us.
It'd be sweet to have a 9 game streak waiting for us on the other side of All-Star Weekend though.
-
Tonight has all the markings of a trap game: double overtime yesterday, late trip, poor opponent... I'm not optimistic.

????? TRIPLE OVERTIME
-
probably tonight for the current win streak.
then a 3 game losing streak later this month, which will cause everyone to throw in the towel (again). but then C's respond with some gritty wins over tough teams, and we'll praise Paul and Kevin again.
that's just regular season basketball.
can't get too high or too low.
i've been saying it all year, and will stick to my guns now. MIA is the only team in the east that could beat us 4 out of 7.
and now that we have better 1:1 defenders than last year, they should get concerned too. Lee, Bradley, Green -- no better stable of athletes to slow down Bron & Wade.
-
I think you just jinxed it. No disrespect.
The last time we had a thread like this after winning 6 straight, we lost 6 straight.
Oh dear...
-
Probably against Chicago.

Oh dear...
after watching this team the last few years, no reason we should expect any semblance of consistency through the regular season.
come playoffs however, you don't want any part of the Lee/Bradley backcourt dogging your guards. and Green has all the tools to matchup against any elite SF. nevermind that KG hasn't lost a step, has been getting more rest than ever all year. that Paul and JET are two of the most confident clutch shooters of the last decade.
reg season is what it is, all we gotta do is get into the dance -- then watch out
-
tonight, if KG and Pierce don't play.
I would say tonight, if Doc trys to go half way like he did last year. Either play KG and PP regular minutes or don't play them at all. Either of those two and we win.
-
This is such a jinx thread
-
Lots of road games coming up so I don't see the streak lasting too long.
I think we take out the Bobcats tonight though. Give Jeff another 40 minutes and see if he can start carrying more of the load vs lesser opponents.
I'd like to see PP and KG play 18 mins each.
-

I agree 100%. There isn't a better scenario for the bobcats to take us down. Huge triple overtime game, 2nd night of a back to back, let down from a huge playoff type win. I don't want it to happen, but i won't be surprised.

I mentally checked out after the second OT ;) Good that the Celtics didn't.
-
Tonight
/reverse jinx
Seriously doe
-
Hopefully after Game 4 of the Finals. 8)
-
Yeah I think tonight looks like a classic game the C's will lose, either by getting blown out based on tired legs. Or worse, a solid lead that gets chipped away in the fourth as jumpers front rim.
If we get by tonight I think we beat Chicago and take it to the All-star break. I also think Denver beats us up in Denver, they've been dynamite at home.

No.
First game of the pre-season.
You lose game 4, you can still lose games 5-7.
-
Probably tonight! If we win this game, I'd say streak ends in Denver...

Just saw it... my thoughts exactly, TP!
-
who says it has to? I'm fine with this continuing until the dissolution of the league ;D
-
It'll end when someone makes a post asking "Where does this current streak end" ...
-
Don't want to jinx but after yesterday we will probably end the streak today.
Not a jinx. In fact, a reverse jinx. You are absolved of any responsibilty if the C's lose tonight.
-
Who said it will end?
-
When someone beats us?
Maybe tonight, the overtime looked brutal on KG.
-
Hopefully not until June 2013.

19th @Denver
Whenever Rondo comes back
-
It'll be done when they get out-hustled and out-played. Hopefully, that's not tonight.
-
Great, guys.
-
now. Barb lose is worrisome.
Good streak and unreal win last night. However its been a disgusting pattern having these cats always ruin our streak. I don't know if we take them lightly or they just love playing us
-
Well a lot of us guessed correctly. :-\
-
Congratulations on a successful jinx thread, troll. You can go crawl back under your bridge now. Bye-bye.

Annoying

I don't believe in jinxes. But the over time last night probably hurt us a lot.

People who believe in jinxes are fools.
-
Lost concetration last 90secods being 91-87.
-
Where does the player-done-for-season streak ends??
