Celtics on road tonight after winning in 3 OT Sunday; from @EliasSports, last 3 teams to play on road day after winning in 3+ OT have won.
The Kemba/Bradley matchup should be fascinating.
Didn't MKG have that scary head injury?Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I didn't know MKG was back playing.
The Kemba/Bradley matchup should be fascinating.
I like the matchup for Bradley, personally. I see Kemba as a poor man's Lawson. Both small but quick with a score-first mentality. Lawson will try to get to the rim more, while Kemba (from what I've seen) seems more content to settle for jumpshots.
Walker should be easy compared to Lawson last night.

I think Kemba is a poor man's Nate Robinson.
Has no business being a starting PG in this league.
The #celtics will go with their usual lineup but expect KG to play short minutes vs #bobcats #celticsGwashNBAGlobeMight be a good idea to go easy on P-Dub as well. Could use a little Kris Josephs right about now...
It's times like these when one can really appreciate Jeff Green.
I expect him to see some extended min tonight.
It's times like these when one can really appreciate Jeff Green. So true although ive appreciated him all along and knew he'd come around youre seeing that now.

Don't know. But I'm certain Rondo ain't shattering the .700 FT% ceiling. It's times like these when one can really appreciate Jeff Green.

Will Jeffrey shatter the 20 point ceiling tonight?
First thing I think of when I come to this thread: "Hi, my name is Celtics vs. Bobcats, and I'm a trap!"

Collins has double double playing KG's minutes.
ok.....I can dream can't I?
Bass with a missed dunk...wow.
omg, Bobcats are terrible...
omg, Bobcats are terrible...
Makes me never want to rebuild... Just take some DNA of pierce and Kg, make some young clones and keep playing.

To be fair, they've "rebuilt" about as poorly as it can be done. Their current strategy is basically "suck until the ping pong balls bounce your way".
Sooo quiet gamethread tonight, i know it's just the bobcats but come on guys...
I"m here and it's 1.30 am in Belgium, after watching past 3 yesterday :P
Anyway, ok first quarter, defense will get better as the game goes on, legs don't seem to be too tired.
dang I miss Sully

True true, and even when that happens, they'd still draft terribly probably.

A TP for your late-night dedication.
Jeff Green going for first 20 plus game
Wilcox, with authority! He's really the only player that rolls to the basket after setting a pick on this team.

Wilcox has good hands. Really grabs the ball well on rolls and oops.

I might end up regretting it, but I'd be interested in seeing what Wilcox could do if they looked for him on offense a little more. He has great athleticism, good hands, decent touch around the basket and a short jumpshot.
Pity the talented collegian selected to play with this lot. Draft= ehomg, Bobcats are terrible...

More Green in the second half please
is it just me or is that arena DEAD?

I'd imagine it'd be hard to get behind a team that has never been even mildly successful. Couple that with the fact the previous NBA team in Charlotte left under bad circumstances, and it's easy too see why the fan base is apathetic, at best.
The Hornets were fairly well supported back in the 90's, but it didn't last. I think the NBA ought to get out of there. Doubt MJ will ever move them as long as he owns them though.
they are managed poorly, Jordon neglect Bobcats he is more into big time motorcycle road racing.....With all the money MJ has, he really would be well served to hire to legitmate front office personnel.
Refs have been terrible today...And somehow Bavetta and Crawford are still around.
Is it me, or has there been an incredible amount of unknown/new refs this year? And they've all sucked so far.
Pierce's legs are clearly out. Need to give him rest and burn some Green here.
Celtics making Mullens look like Kevin Love
Sigh, incompetent refs.
Every bobcats possession is a foul on Boston. Thanks refs.Well it's not like they could score without the free throws
We've played too good lately to lose to the Bobcats.
wow. we are just **** snakebit this year as far as injuries.
Could be Achilles?
Anyone know what Home Depot Delonte works at?
oh man you have to be kidding me.NO worries, we get better with every player that goes down.
I hope Barbosa is ok. This is insane.

On a lighter note, tleast we can say Fab Melo is carrying the team tonight. I hope leandro is ok.

:P
If it's knee related he probably won't play in the NBA again...Just feel bad for him >:(
Barbosa is done for the season... oh well, I say we should stop playing games before we ruin other players' career in the process... what a cursed team!!
Can anyone tell me another team that has gotten screwed by injuries as much as the Celtics?

I meant if it's any kind of tear...Really hoping it's notIf it's knee related he probably won't play in the NBA again...Just feel bad for him >:(
Relax. Not every knee injury is an ACL
Can anyone tell me another team that has gotten screwed by injuries as much as the Celtics?
Portland
Well no one knows what that team would have done even without the injuries. The Celtics have proven that they are perennial contenders. Can anyone tell me another team that has gotten screwed by injuries as much as the Celtics?
Portland
Who's out there as free agents?Delonte
Let's finish off these bums, sign some free agents, and go win a title. :o

Yep, Portland and Minnesota come to mind.

Expletive Bass. So worthless.
Who's out there as free agents?from Hoops Hype:
Love hearing the "Let's go Celtics" chant in another arena.
Wow Bass, way to help the team by missing two free-throws. Jackass.

why did we take green out?
Agreed, would love Green in place of Bass right now.
Jeff is coming in at this time out. I refuse to believe Doc can be this ignorant. You'd rather have Bass?
Justn from my game....Celts looking tough...kg is on it...!
Justn from my game....Celts looking tough...kg is on it...!
Barbosa blew out his knee.
I think I'd rather have Lee in the game than Bradley. Bigger, better ball handler, better rebounder.
Absolutely not. I guess Doc IS that ignorant. I just knew that he would put Jeff in at the last timeout. Bass...smh.Jeff is coming in at this time out. I refuse to believe Doc can be this ignorant. You'd rather have Bass?
Bradley may be a better player, but Lee is much more comfortable handling the ball.I think I'd rather have Lee in the game than Bradley. Bigger, better ball handler, better rebounder.
Mmm no...can't think of a better defender on walker or sessions than Bradley ..the height advantage lee supposedly has is overrated, look at them stands next to each other and there ball handling is about equal
Bradley is a better defender and player
thanks for the scoop..tp...both of ya....Bad news for our guy barbosa....!Justn from my game....Celts looking tough...kg is on it...!
Barbosa blew out his knee.
We don't know this; but yeah it looked bad.
Bass freakin standin there! GO GET THE REBOUND!!

Lol, looking at the Charlotte cheerleaders during the break. Looks like they met for the first time five minutes before tip off.
Doc should have gone with Green instead of Bass down the stretch. He took out our leading scorer.

If this is a loss it is on Doc for sitting Green. :-\
so kg, pierce, and bass have played more mins than green....

*Sigh*
Not much that can be done a night after a Triple OT game with an old roster.
That loss is on Doc.
This ones on doc, bass for green really?smh sitting an effective green with his boytoy as usual. If this is a loss it is on Doc for sitting Green. :-\
Yep
Two shots at it on that final possession. A tough contested three by Pierce and a really good look at a short three from the sideline by Bradley. Can't ask for much more than that on the final possession.
Ball just didn't go down.
Doc was just as incompetent as the refs tonight. Jeff Green is dominating them and Doc puts in Bass.
And everything is a jump shot. They are certainly capable of taking it to the rim, but they choose not to.
Lessens the legitimacy of the streak IMO, only the 2ND road game and a loss against a pitiful joke of a franchise
Oh well, let's see how much longer this better without rondo absurdity will last with the upcoming road games
Why did Doc give up on Courtney Lee too?
I ain't even mad though.
Tough loss. But we know how good this team is now.
So I'm pretty confident in the next couple of games.
If there is to blame, it has to be Doc, Bass over Green, really? When Green is dominating early like that, you have to let him play.

Danny,
Please trade Bass.

honestly, after last night you kind of saw a loss tonight coming...
the dissapointing part was that this was a game we couldve/shouldve won.
some poor officiating had a part to do with it.
but im still sitting here wondering why Doc took out the guy with the hot-hand, our Leading Scorer for the 4th quarter?

BECAUSE HE IS A TOP 3 COACH IN THE NBA! ::)
Am I allowed to say that Ray would've made one of those 3s for us at the end? ???who cares at this point
*runs away*
That KG statement didn't sound good. At first I thought it was tape of the Rondo aftermath. What was said?
