Denver Nuggets has express interest in Garnett but the feeling is not mutual. KG has no interest in playing for Denver. I still believe he is not going anywhere and i hope not. U going to hear everything. Got to remember, he has a no trade clause. On;y place i think he would go to would be LA, either Lakers or Clippers.

The Denver Post has reported this by the way
-
There's no doubt Boston, whose playoff prospects have been dealt crippling blows by season-ending injuries to guard Rajon Rondo and forward Jared Sullinger, is listening to trade inquiries from around the NBA. The Nuggets have called. And they have enough young, reasonably priced talent to get the attention of Boston president of basketball operations Danny Ainge.
But discussions between Denver and Boston can go nowhere, unless Garnett shows interest in Colorado. At this point, there is none.
That's why it's pointless to discuss if the Nuggets' main chip in a trade proposal would be Andre Iguodala, Kenneth Faried or Danilo Gallinari.
Not sure it's much of a news story as I'm sure most teams have called regarding Garnett.
However, if you are Danny and are considering moving the big man, Denver could put together some interesting trade packages.
With that being said, any package Denver sent would likely wipe them out of a lot of talent and leave KG nothing to play with so chances of it happening are obviously slim to none.
Found it interesting none the less.

beat me to it...can anybody merge these two threads?

Thought I saw on twitter that they'd be offering McGee which is a big 'thanks but not thanks.'
I really enjoy watching Kevin Garnett play, and selfishly I want him to finish here so I can watch as much of his career as possible. But if Denver offered Faried (and KG would waive his no trade) I think I'd be OK with it.

What salary would match KG's with Faried being the guy coming back?

The only player I'd really have interest in is Faried. Have little to no interest in Mcgee and his contract.
Maybe a Lawson/Faried package but then where does that leave Denver? Doubt they even consider that kind of deal

I'll check out salaries, but off the top of my head - Wilson Chandler should make things close.
-
Seems like speculation and not much else. Remember, JaVale McGee makes 10 million per. KG makes 11.5. Any trade package would clearly start with McGee's crazy butt.
-
Faried, Chandler and Mozgov would be needed to make salaries work.
But this doesn't seem like a trade Denver makes. I just don't see them in the place where they try to hit the homerun.

Ya, I was just going to say that - my guess is it's Denver doing their due dilligence and seeing if Ainge had any interest in taking Pierre's contract on.

I don't see them moving Chandler too I guess.

Wilson Chandler and Andre for that matter are both redundant with Pierce and Green still on the roster.
I do like Andre though, he's just not a good fit for this roster and it's current construction.
Some poor GM will fall for Mcgee's athletic ability and I pray to the basketball gods it's not Ainge. Paying him 10mil a year is turrble
-
Faried would be the only piece i would want..but Nuggets would be crazy trading him..
-
Its funny cause I think the only reason we would want McGee would be to have him playing with KG
-
Every team in the league should be....I find it ridiculous kg would even for a second entertain leaving boston for the nugs though
-
Celtics would only be interested, I think, if Koufos or Faried was coming back in the deal.
Koufos and Chandler for Garnett works, salary-wise...

REJECTED BY GARNETT!!!

I would love to nab Iggy but I guess only if we sent Pierce packing.
Trade one with Denver:
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=an7mkqv (http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=an7mkqv)
Trade 2 with Utah:
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=buvodhf (http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=buvodhf)
Start next season with
Rondo/Bradley
Iggy/Lee
Green/Iggy
Sully/Bass
Jefferson/Mozgof/Wilcox
Thats a lineup I could live with as a rebuild.

I'd be okay with that. However, I think we'd have to throw something else in to convince Utah.
Also, I think I'd rather start Lee at the sg spot and iggy at the sf spot and leave Green in the sixth man role. I see some bad spacing issues with current starting line up you have.

Not exactly a rebuild...more like second round playoff fodder every year

who couldn't that team beat in the east outside Miami?

Thats kind of my thought... Even so. Iggy could guard Bron or Wade. Green could guard Iggy. Bradley could come off the bench to guard Wade. Jefferson could at least get a hand in Bosh's face. With the speed of Rondo, Lee, Bradley, Iggy, and Green as our wing guys we could close out on the perimeter nicely.

In my opinion, the nuggets and clips are targeting the wrong celtic (at least from the perspective of a celtic fan). They need to making offers for Pierce. It would be tough to deal him, but if the c's could get back a really good big like McGee it may be worth considering
-
KG/Wilcox for McGee/Faried would be my request.
George Karl would love to replace McGee with KG, I'm sure.

McGee is too much of a negative.

Def. McGee has superior athleticism but he hasn't done anything to show that he can translate that to the basketball court
-
The only way kg is going to Denver is if pierce is going too. The nuggets have a huge trade exception though so they could easily take back pierce and kg.
The hit on their cap would be big tho.

He's done a lot to show that he's a knucklehead of epic proportions, though.

Nene trade exception.

If the Celtics really wanted this trade would this make the trade work for KG?

I don't think so. I think he'll be pretty movable on that contract. He plays like a moron, but he's young and productive (points, rebounds, blocks) and the kind of player who would benefit statistically from playing with Rondo.

The Celtics would be his third team in two seasons. Try to move him again so soon...
Trade value drops.

I think I would rather have Gallo then Iggy. Younger and on a better deal. Add Gallo and McGhee to your trade and take off Iggy. We can send them back Terry.
-
Iggy, faried, Gallo?
Yeah I'd do that trade.
Anything involving McGee....pound sand

Only if you can find a third team to take Mcgee

Tell me why KG would go to Denver.

Maybe if you threw in trading Doc for George Karl.

Congratulations, you managed to make both team worse by a total margin of 15 games.
