I'm a little drunk... Please move this to the appropriate forum. I'm in new Orleans right now for work. Filming some behind the scenes stuff at the Superdome tomorrow. I went in a random bar 10 minutes ago and noticed rembert from grantland... I was going to walk up to him when suddenly bill simmons appeared. I introduced myself, told him I was a massive Celtic fan, shook his hand and asked for a pic and he refused... Told me he "wasn't supposed to be here". Oh well. Thought id share

I'm a huge fan. Lol. I've been reading him for years. I feel like his approach to Celtic fandom is identical to mine... Bummed he refused a pic. Also, i literally have an awesome dslr camera strapped to me right now because I was taking pics... But he told me he wasn't supposed to be here... At least he shook my hand. Sorry for outing you bill if you read this... I bought your book... I just wanted a pic ;-P

Yeah bummer... I'm not sure why anyone would care if he was in new Orleans right now. He works for espn... Isn't that kinda expected? Celticsblog is about the only place I can think of that would actually care I met Simmons... Would have liked a pic with him
I told him I was a massive Celtic fan and he said "we've had a rough week". I gotta pat myself on the back a bit that I actually recognized rembert first. Apparently I'm Really good with faces... That's relatively random
