Title: Any chance KG and/or PP pull a Ray Lewis and announce retirement before playoffs

I don't see how the c's have any chance of competing next year. With PP and KG another year older and no realistic way to add a top 20 player to the roster, it doesn't make much sense for them to keep playing for the c's.

The only reason for PP to stick around would be to try and become # 1 on the c's all time scoring list, but he would need at least 2 more years after this year to break it(about 3,000 points behind Hondo)

I think KG would be more likely to retire.

Always a chance, but it's unlikely. This is a good roster, and we'll still have it next year for the most part. I think KG plays basketball until the wheels completely come off.

I don't think that there is any way that KG plays out his contract.

I could see KG doing it, but I think it is doubtful. Don't see Pierce doing it.

Im with you. I think it is doubtful they would do this before the season ended... But at the same time it would not surprise me in the least.

Maybe they announce it and this sparks the team entering the playoffs.
