Title: Bos/Pho/Den/Atl
Post by: SchnellHanse on January 19, 2013, 10:58:52 AM
I fast thought trade, here goes ;D:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ab3no57

Boston Celtics sends: Brandon Bass, Fab Melo, Jeff Green + first round
                gets: Josh Smith, Timofey Moszgov

Phoenix Suns   sends: Marcin Gortat
gets : Fab Melo, Anthony Randolph + first rounder

Denver Nuggets sends: Timofey Moszgov, Anthony Randolph
                gets: Brandon Bass

Atlanta Hawks  sends: Josh Smith
                gets: Marcin Gortat, Jeff Green

Boston Celtics: Gets Josh Smith, who might fix the problem + a 7 footer. Block and rebound should not be problem.

Phoneix Suns: Young players with upside, plus a pick for a player who doesn't want to be on the team.

Denver Nuggets: They could use a solid pf, a minor trade for them.

Atlanta Hawks: Gets a "win now" center, moving Horford to pf and a sf with upside.

So what do you think?

Pretty homerish but not too bad. Much better than a lot if other trades I've seen. Hawks would want much more. For the celtics I do that in a second.

so starters would be?
rondo
avery
pp
smith
KG

idk bc we wouldnt have a back up SF, i mean i guess you slide Josh to the 3 and sully and Moszgov down low off the bench......Josh Smith would be playing a lot of minutes(which is prly fine). BUT after last night we do need someone to come in and play the SF well when PP is playin awful, which happens now and again at his age

Not bad tho, i think its fairly balanced Gortat and Horford would be a interesting combo

Why would Denver even dream of giving up Mostgov and Randolf for Bass?

The way Bass is playing this season he has practically zero trade value.
