Agreed.

One thing the Cs definitely lack right now, though, is a guy who can come in and hit a three whether you play him 2 minutes or 25.  We're missing that Eddie House kind of player, basically.  Terry, Lee, Bradley, Green, these are all guys who benefit from playing more minutes and getting in rhythm.

Barbosa is instant offense, but he's had a hard time getting off the bench due to his defense, and his outside shot is not really a quick-release, run-off-screens sort of shot.  Almost a set shot, really.

So while there isn't any room in the rotation for more SGs right now (we don't have enough room for the SGs we have), we definitely could use somebody with Redick's talents if other moves created room for him.

Jason Terry was supposed to be that guy, with the added benefit that he is a legit vet backup point guard.  His shot just needs to start falling more consistently.

I think Terry is more of a rhythm shooter.  He needs to be fairly high usage, and play significant minutes, or else he's not really bringing much to the table.  He's a sixth man, not a designated shooter type.

I love JJ Redick! Too bad he wasn't a restricted free agent over the past summer so we could have signed him. :(

I prefer Redick to Lee.  Better shooting, better passing, fewer careless turnovers.

I'd take Redick over Lee, too.  Redick is a better scorer, a better shooter, and a better passer.

On defense, Redick is very underrated. Check out his rankings in terms of Opponent's Points Allowed Per Possession:

Overall:  60th
Isolation: 13th
P&R Ball Handler: 26th
Post-ups: 12th
Off Screen: 50th
Spot-Up: 99th

Compare that to Lee's ranks:

Overall:  137th
Isolation: 36th
P&R Ball Handler: 126th
Post-ups: insufficient sample
Off Screen: 11th
Spot-Up: 217th

Lee is better at forcing turnovers, but there's an argument that Redick has been a more steady defender this year.

Yep.  Redick is very underrated in general.  I think he's long deserved a starting spot or a sixth man role somewhere.  I hope the Magic trade him so he can have a larger role for somebody.

He's probably better overall than Lee.  Really though I'd rather exchange Terry for him.

Give us my Boy JJ Redick.

He does a little bit of everything, assists, defense, scoring, stretching the floor.

A great role player, I should have had him as one of my top 5 for my survey.

Reddick may be an upgrade, but another shooting guard is the last thing this team needs.

I suppose if Orlando wanted to trade him straight up for Terry or Lee, then it's all good.

But we'd be better suited finding another big, PG, or SF before we go looking for more shooting guards.  We have plenty of those.
