Looking forward to see how Bradley contains Harden.more practice for bradley for the game on the 27th against dirty wade. ;D
Looking forward to see how Bradley contains Harden.Harden likes to stay low and dribble low which is how he gets around a lot of guys, thing is Bradley plays low on all fours and is a ballhawk can't wait ;D

Here's to a Kobe-like shooting (as in 7 of 22 FGs or such) night! ;) But seriously, Harden can go for 55 for all I care as long as we get the W. He of course won't, not with Honey Badger on him.
TP once again, FL and Congrats on 1900 Tommy Points, each and every one of them well deserved. You should have 10,000 TP's but I guess you'll get there eventually :)Keep on keepin' on!

GO CELTICS!
If we can shot down Harden, and Parsons, who can also score a ton of points if he gets hot, I like our chances. They move the ball really well from side to side, we have been playing stifling defense though. I like our chances.
This is still a tough match, anyway. Rockets are on a very good form as of late.
I bet delfino drops 30 on us tonight. It seems like he always has a good game against us.Delfino gets up for the Elite teams and kills them everytime. Pierce should be fresh now and ready for him though.
It's pretty impressive Harden is averaging 10 fta per game. I didn't think he had that in him.
He gets a lot of superstar calls I've noticed. It's pretty impressive Harden is averaging 10 fta per game. I didn't think he had that in him.
Too bad Ainge had to settle for Green when he dealt Perk... Harden was the one he wanted.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Bradley can do with Harden.
Outside of Asik, are any of the Houston bigs any good?

Good Rondo so far. There is no way slow-footed Jeremy Lin can defend Rondo.
Like to see Bass get a look
4 for 4 to start, then 0 for 6 ... awesome.
4 for 4 to start, then 0 for 6 ... awesome.
Good time out. slow down, take control. You make some you misssomeway too many.
Ahhhh, Bass missing open jumpers. booo
Oh wow, you don't usually see Bradley bite on that.
This one doesnt have a good feel to it early. No, it doesn't. Worrying start.
Wow, terrible call on Pierce. Asik couldn't get the board so they call a foul on PIerce. Didn't even touch him.
THE BENCH! :)
I like Boston running with Houston. They are better at it.
14 points from the bench already. :o
sully is amazing.
Sully with 10/6 already?!
Lucky or not, Sullinger is going to be very, very good in the NBA.We shouldn't be trading him for anybody right now.
I love this team!
sully roy?If he continues like that he'll be in the discussion... but he's definitely going to the Rookie-Sophomore Game...
better without rondo?
It looked like Bradley just threw that transition layup up there off the backboard knowing Sully was there to win the offensive rebound if he missed.

Baby Barkley.
Nice to see KG and J.Green rushing to help up Sully after he fell to the ground after the foul. Two guys. Straight away. Helping up their teammate.

Yeah, we will go with that. It sounds better lol
Terrible help from Bass.

Bradley looked over at Sully before revving up and saw Sully had inside position for the rebound if Asik came over challenged Bradley's shot.
Bradley missed the shot badly but he knew Sully had a strong chance at that rebound if he missed. A 2 for 1 opportunity.
It's really a joke that Lin gets more calls than Rondo....like reallyLin looks for contact (offensively) more than Rondo does.
This Rondo + Pierce + Bass trio hasn't produced for Boston today.
Problems in the starting lineup.

Lindrives tot the bucket nearly EVERY play, RONDO should be pushing the ball like this ..
Yeah, I would keep it for now too but it doesn't look right. It hasn't just been tonight. This Rondo + Pierce + Bass trio hasn't produced for Boston today.
Problems in the starting lineup.
A problem tonight. But in general I like the rotations / roles on the team. I'd keep the starting lineup intact a while longer.
What would you rather watch:I go with the blank screen every time.
A blank screen or Gary Tanguay and Donny Marshall at halftime?

I wonder if that Wilcox for Bass swap would give that unit more of the balance it needs. This Rondo + Pierce + Bass trio hasn't produced for Boston today.

We need GREEN back in the GAME..Pierce TOO SLOWYeah, too slow up and down and too slow with his decisions. No fluidity.

Exactly.
It was in the thread I posted the other day. Rondo plays passive and lazy during the regular season to protect his health.

Can Sully get 20-10 tonight?
Can Sully get 20-10 tonight?I don't think the Rockets could stop him with a bazooka.
I missed most of the 1st half and just got back and saw the box score (I had to leave the game after about 6 minutes and the C's had just given up a 13-0 run).
Psyched to see the bench doing it again! It had seemed that Sully was on the verge of breaking out statistically and he did so against a bad team on Wednesday and appears to be doing it again against a good team tonight.
Sully to starting lineup or is this just working? Starters surprisingly bad over the last game and a half.
boy what a show it has been for our bench. even coach mchale must be proud with the way were playing.lol also what a difference a week makes, this board use to be dark a week ago.hahaour tone is always 100 percent reflective of the way we're currently playing. We went from playing like a lottery bound team to a legit contender in a week.
Interesting that the Celtics haven't shot a free throw yet. I expect some whistle benefits in the 2nd half. Lets bury the Rockets!
Go Celtics!

Captain!
The Rockets look like they are sponsored by McDonalds with those jerseysHaha, I knew those jerseys looked like something familiar!!

Surprisingly, there hasn't been a play that I've felt really warranted us getting free-throws that I recall.

I just couldn't put my finger on it. McDonalds. Haha, that's what it is!

Bass' jumper is still off. That's the problem. It happens, especially to guys who aren't high volume shooters. If he's not hitting it, he looks pretty average. It'll come around and Bass will be a big asset for us (either on the team, or via a trade). Its annoying right now...but Bass is a very good shooter. I think all the role changes and changing minutes impacted his game...but hopefully it'll all come around soon.

Bass' confidence looks pretty low right now.
He is the odd man out at the moment. Just not as involved as he was last year. Doesn't know how to get himself going. Looks disheartened. Doesn't know what to do.

Yea, I'm getting hungry just looking at them, LOL
Sully is slowly reaching major trade chip-to-untradable status. And I love it!

I say leave them be for now and see if they can keep giving Boston such a large advantage on a regular basis.
Pierce has 17 points in 18 minutes
Gotta love that
I hate hearing this crap about no one to run with Rondo.
Two years ago with Shaq, Perkins, Jermaine, at center it was partially true as KG/Ray/Pierce weren't exactly lightning fast.
But Bradley is as fast if not faster than Rondo. Green, Lee, Sullinger, healthy KG (for a big) are all plenty fast enough to run in transition. The problem now is Rondo just plays lazy and would rather rack up assists doing painstaking plays through a series of screens and cuts instead of just getting a layup by blitzing down the court and fastbreak.
This defense/effort from Terry, Bradley, Lee, Green and Sullinger has been absolutely mindblowing.
I hope I don't see any more complaining about Terry because his afford has been off the charts today, and his defense in the last few games has been absolutely outstanding.
Even against a far bigger (hight and weight) Harden Terry has done an amazing job and his hustle on that save earlier in the game was inspiring.
Green looks like he is finally awakening.
Lee has been outstanding
Bradley's defense has made Harden look like a 3rd string SG
Garnett and Bradley are both playing well for the starters.
I love this team right now!!!!Sully is slowly reaching major trade chip-to-untradable status. And I love it!
Playing Sullinger 28-32 minutes a night off the bench might be a better option than starting him and giving him similar minutes.

i'm glad that you love this team right now because, evidently, our GM does not. he is as bad as the posters on CelticsBlog about constantly thinking, "Now, who can i trade next ?"
I read that Harden is on a streak of 14 straight games with 25+ points.
Longest such streak in Rockets history. I wonder if that is on his mind right now. I think it is.

Been speaking to Danny? Don't believe everything you read about who C's are talking to or offering. Mostly, Danny doing his due dilligence to ensure no stone unturned. He should trade if he can make the team better.
C's have looked really good tonight with a couple of small exceptions when Houston went on those 1st and 3rd quarter runs. the bench has really stepped up this game and played like the bench we hoped we had before we started this season. this team may have actually finally turned the corner. can't wait for wilcox to get back.should have kept my mouth shut :-[
i think it's time for starters - bass + sully
I hope the Celtics hold onto this one. They are a confident team right now, I dont want anything like this to interrupt them feeling that way and possibly derailing them.
I am really impressed with how prolific a scorer Harden has been this year.
I thought he was one of those guys who would be a low twenties type scorer with very good passing involving his teammates like Brandon Roy. But Harden has surpassed that. A regular 25+ppg threat. Very impressive.
Where's Sully?

He also compared Steimsma to Bill Russell last year. Just saying.
Celtics by 11!
5 game winning streak!!!
sully is now on the same list as AB as far as people i don't wanna trade. Who can we get for bass and melo? lol
no Rondo? he should be at the top spot.sully is now on the same list as AB as far as people i don't wanna trade. Who can we get for bass and melo? lol
I've added Sully and Lee both to that list, and I'm not far from adding Terry and Green as well. Terry still struggling with his shot a little, but he's been playing tough defense and is running the team nicely when Rondo sits.
After Avery's return I think Terry's new role of the bench leader has been just as critial to our success as Bradley's defense.
To be honest I prefer Terry at PG over Rondo at PG times.
Right now my list of players I don't want to trade are:
* KG
* Pierce
* Bradley
* Sullinger
* Lee
Terry and Green are on the outside looking in - I like both those guys and I really don't want to trade them
Man this rockets team is TUFF OUT....glade we are done whew..
I suggest ...IF ..Doc ever leaves...PLEASE GET McHale to coach
