I think it's fair for both sides.

If Kings are really being sold, don't expect them to make any moves before the deadline. The new ownership group is likely going to want to evaluate their roster and design their own strategy.

Sacramento wouldnt do this deal

We throw in Either Green or Lee and take back a bad contract.

Rondo is my 2nd favorite played in the NBA next to KG.
I do this trade. But I don't want two of their sub-par PGs. I'd take one and Thompson. To make salaries match we'd have to move Lee.
Rondo, Lee and Melo
for
DMC, Evans, Thompson and Thomas
Let's say SAC tanks, makes the trade I listed above and gets Mohammed in the draft.
Rondo
Lee
Mohammed
Robinson
Melo
And a pretty deep bench. They get rid of all the knuckleheads and have a leader in Rondo (and his friend Lee).
The Celtics decline Pierce's option, let KG retire and start the rebuild with a bang. Doc has his work cut out for him but a ton of talent to mold.
I think it's an interesting idea. If I were SAC I would trade DMC and Evans in separate deals and try to stockpile picks while shedding salary. Try to get in the running for a top 5 lottery pick to pairing Robinson with either Noel or Mohammed. Certainly a lot of options for the new Seattle team :)

Ok get rid of Jimmer and give me Brooks My price for Rondo is two of your sub par PG's, plus your two best assets. Tha't it or no deal.
Cousins
Garnett
Pierce
Bradley
Thomas
Sully
Bass
Green
Tyreke, Courtney Lee
A Brooks
Insanely deep team. Question is how could we acquire a upgrade at point guard.
