Title: One Year Ago Today
Post by: BudweiserCeltic on January 09, 2013, 12:37:32 PM
Jeff Green had his heart surgery. Glad he worked his way back into the game, let's give him an ovation when he gets on the floor tonight. Irrespective of your opinion of him as a player, I hope we make him feel more than welcome today... and hopefully he'll help us get a win tonight :)

While I sometimes am disappointed with his play, I really respect and commend him as a person, for what he has been thru and where he is right now.

I think he does deserve an applause. I'll give him one, even if I'm on the others side of the nation.

Jeff Green is the man!

My father had virtually the same surgery.  He is much older but every time he sees Green he is so impressed and tells me how much the surgery took out of him physically.  It took him a year to recover to feel even close to how he was before.

TP, Bud Celtic,

We've got you, Jeff.  Go get 'em, kid.

I promise to get up off my couch and give him a standing ovation when he checks into tonight's ball game.

Thanks man.  Thought he wasn't going to make it for a while.  Gives me only more respect for Green.
