With this roster. That's what we are looking at right now. Anybody have another record prediction.

I will stick with 48-34 and a second round out with the current roster. An effective trade to get a solid big man might change my mind.

even with our new added offense in green and terry which i like we are going nowhere without another big down low who can "GET IT DONE".

we are not beating the heat with small ball.

Let's see.

We're sitting at 12-10 right now.  After tomorrow night, we'll almost assuredly be 12-11.

There are 7 games left in December after that, then 27 games in January and February.

My guess is that Avery's return will help, but at the start of March I expect the Cs will have a record close to 31-26.

Being optimistic, I think the team will turn things on a bit for the last stretch of the season.  Over the last 25 games, I would expect them to go 15-10 or so.  Maybe even get 16 or 17 wins.

Final record: 46-36 . . . perhaps as high as 48 wins.

I expect that will leave them as the 5th or 6th seed.  Probably a hard fought first round series, perhaps with a chance to fight in the second round.  Probably similar to the 2009 post-season run.

54 wins

Wow -- you expect them to go 42-20 the rest of the way? That would be quite a feat.

I expect 50wins...the celtics looked far worse last year and ended up going on a rediculous streak after the all-star break.

the pieces are coming together, theres alot of talent but they are inconsistent.

everyone said the same stuff about last years team "2nd round out, horrible team" and they ended up going to game 7 of the eastern conference finals

To be fair, even though they really improved a lot in the second half of last season, if it weren't for Derrick Rose's injury I'm not sure how far they would have gone.

A reasonably healthy Bulls team is a matchup nightmare for the Celtics, far more so than the 76ers.  I have serious doubts they would have gotten past the Bulls, especially with Bradley sidelined and both Ray and Pierce hobbled.

If you're going to bring up Rose you should bring up Green and Wilcox as well, obviously they'd have helped.
