No Gasol, Green or any major assets involved.
January trade due to Hill, Lee and Barbosa contract signings.
LAL sends: Jordan Hill, Darrius Morris
LAL gets: Courtney Lee, Leandro Barbosa, 2014 2nd rounder
Why for the Lakers: They get two dynamic bench guards with an outside game for D'Antoni. Leaves a Gasol trade open for other roleplayers/starters.
Boston sends: Courtney Lee, Leandro Barbosa, 2013 2nd rounder
Boston gets: Jordan Hill, Darrius Morris
Why for Boston: They clear the crowded two guard spot and fill a need with a back up center and a young back up point guard.
Thoughts? This trade could also work salarywise by cutting out Barbosa and Morris.

no thanks. I don't see either Hill or Morris being anywhere near as productive as Lee and Barbosa have been. this would help the Lakers much more than the C's IMO.
oh, and saying this would leave the Lakers the opportunity to still shop Pau to improve their team isn't a selling point either

LA gets the two best players in that deal.

I dont hate the trade,
If AB comes back and is playing at a high level then this trade could work.
Hill would give us a productive rebounder still not ideal center size but definitely our best rebounding big.

Bad idea to trade Lee right now. His value is at an all time low.

I like the idea of netting Hill but not at the expense of either of those guys especially Lee. Barbosa for Hill I probably do but cap wont allow it. Id take Hill but I wouldnt go out of my way to make a deal for him.
