I read some posts about this but there were no definitive answers.

Why? He really did nothing for us...

I sure hope so. . . because:
1. Darko is a pure pass first point guard who can take his man off the dribble with a tripe cross over fadeaway tomahawk dunk;
2. Darko is a Pure shooter who can stroke the three ball during crunch time with the game on the line;
3. Darko is a beast who will grab at least 15 rebounds a night;
4. Darko is not afraid of anyone (THIS IS TRUE IMHO);
5. Darko is a dunk machine and stat filler who can fill a minimum of 3 stat categories a game;
Joking aside, Darko rode the pine while he was here. He just seemed lost after hearing his mother's illness.

Post defense, legit size, and good athleticism to run the floor.

He didn't play much did he? Doc did not trust him. He has never provided those things for any team!

no no too darko

Probably depends on his family situation.
He would have gotten a shot eventually this season. We could sure use the type of size that he has.
C'mon back, Seņor Milicic.

Thank you Fred. Milicic might have been "worthless" during the time he was here but there was some untapped potential there as we could clearly see from the highlight. Contractually, I mean, is there a way we can sign him again? Is there something written that says we can't sign him again this season? Roy Hobbs?

Because he was never given the chance.
The worst he could be on this team is a rough and rugged big who make it difficult for opponents to score patios and grab rebounds. We could use that.
I'm not sure about though. In NBA 2k13 you can still resign a player you just waived. I'm not sure if that happens in real life, then again, the game seems to seems to have every NBA rules.

We'd have to sign him to a new contract. If we did so, then yes, he could play for us again. (This assumes that Darko didn't formally retire, which I haven't seen any reports of.)

So was it Doc's fault for not playing Darko considering the impact Collins had on the game tonight?
Is it impossible for him to come back?
Preseason Darko was awesome. I suspect Doc got obsessed with small ball.

The way he left it doesn't seem like there'd be interest.
But the Celtics really could use a big along those lines. Anybody who's a legitimate NBA player at the 5 would get significant rotation minutes on this team right now.

I expect Darko to be playing pro ball in Europe before the season ends.
