Projected Record Note:

Theyre not that much into Perk ith some labeling as their contract mistake. He has a role to fill here and he knows the system. Since Perk we struggled finding the Center next to KG.

AB is vastly overrated around and if cs ever consider him the solution or the savior why they pick JET and Lee who are basically SGs.

Is this a pipe dream or its somehow possible???

okis, i get that data from GM trade machine but as usual it can be wrong... who knows... the trade is more around bradley but need the salary to match, not that okc will receivve Jeff Green back ;)

Hey, I love Perk as much as the next guy.  But I don't think Perk really fits with our current team.  Like it or not, KG is a better C than a PF now.  Perk isn't starting over KG, and he isn't a good fit at all at the 4.

What I think we really need is an upgrade at the 4 (j smith) or a better backup center who could also play some 4 in certain lineups with KG.

I think I'd rather give Fab Melo some playing time than take Perk back. Other than a Dwight Howard stopper he has really dropped off. At least Fab is longer and a better shot blocker.

I thinked Perk specially beccause OKC seems to not have that much use for him and Perk knows systems yet.

Its true that can make KG play PF an probably hes now a little to slow for that but who knows, he can play there better than Sully and Bass IMO

Any other reboundng center with interior defense and ho knows how to box out an rebound can work but hey those doesnt come in dozens and every single team seems to appreciatte theirs too much.

I guess the other issue with it is the 7mil salary for Perk. I think that is overpaying for what he gives you.

There's a concept -- putting Fab in a game.

No thanks.

Perk is not the same player anymore. He hurt the knee and lost a lot of weight impacting his ability to play post defense.

At his price he's a horrible value.

I would never advocate moving Bradley for him.

I really don't see any feasible trade between Boston and OKC that makes sense for bringing Perk back.

Perkins is a horrible player right now.

Bradley is 3 x Perkins worth.

Agree with this post. Now I love Perk and what he brought to the team years ago before his injuries.
Fab Melo can run like deer, and can nearly run the floor up and back , before Perk could get to one end. Perk accelerates like a Catapiller tractor.  He moves in slow motion.
Somebody like Anderson Varejao is who we need for another BIG to wake this team up.  Even then It would be hard to give up Bradley , but I'd trade Jeff Green in a NY sec for ANderson Varejao.

Let me tell you the real issue about this deal: OKC won't do this.
They have Sefolosha to play as a defending SG and the lion's share of the minutes are played by Kevin Martin off the bench, anyway. Why would they even try to land Bradley?
Especially by giving away their sole true center? Who would they start, then? Nick Collison? I doubt he is a C. Thabeet? I doubt he can consistently stay on the court for 20+ minutes or so.

Case rejected!

I love Perk, will always love Perk, and believe a big chunk of what this team has been missing in recent years related back to his not being around.  We missed that attitude and those elbows, we missed having someone around who would make LeBron and Wade think twice about driving the lane.

BUT...  I think we've got a pretty close facsimile sitting on the bench right now in Darko.  Darko can be that same type of player.  If we continue to have issues with our interior D, I'd love to see him get a few minutes at the 5 and see what happens.

Perk may or may not be significantly better than Darko, but I an sure than Perk isn't $6M better - and that's to say nothing of Bradley, an absolute sparkplug who had a tangible impact on the team's performance, and who is still very young with lots of room for further improvement (hell, just look at how much better he got between year 1 and 2!)

There is no way in 10 million years I would even contemplate giving up Bradley for Perkins.

We have Collins and Darko - they are both defensive minded 7 footers who are tough, strong and relatively slow.

Up until today we went through the first 7 games without playing either one of those guys a single minute.

Perkins is a defensive minded big man (he's not 7 foot) who is tough, strong and relatively slow.

Why would I give up a 20 year old ELITE defensive player with a massive upside for something with already have two of?

Screw Perkins. I really want Milsap.

I have always liked Milsap. I'm not sure that he's exactly what we need (an undersized four) but I do like the way he plays and what he brings to the table.

Everyone here rambles on about Al Jefferson, but every time I've watched the Jazz play Milsap has looked like their star, and Jefferson has looked like a very good role player.

If we're reaching back into time to grab a center who helped win us a title, then I'm going for Parish or Walton.

Also, no way OKC gives up their only guy who can hang with Dwight, Z-Bo, and Marc Gasol one-on-one.

Perkins is complete garbage and to give up Barbosa and Bradley for that washed up bum is suicide.

He's a bum now. He's got no lift, he can't catch he's declining every year and moves like someone 10 years his senior because his knees are screwed.

No thanks. Another solid big man...perhaps, but Perkins is complete trash now.
