The summer goes by way too fast, but at least there are plenty of things to look forward to ... should be some great college ball this year.

Here's hoping that we don't have an SEC rematch for the Nat. Championship. Although I would like Arkansas to run over LSU and 'Bama, I like Tyler Wilson.

I endured less sleep just to see this game because of all the hype. I wish I can have my 2 hours of sleep back...

My thoughts are with Devon Walker from Tulane University, who suffered a broken neck and stopped breathing in a NCAA football game yesterday ... please say a prayer for him today, and a positive prognosis. God bless, Devon.

That was an awesome awesome day of college football. So much to think about. I was wondering how the BCSers were going to screw Louisiana Monroe, but that didn't have to happen.

Notre Dame is back...FINALLY
BC shows it can hang in for a while...I guess Spaz really isn't the guy
Miami fans abandon their team
PSU with their first win of the O'Brien era. I think they're showing he can coach and that Paterno couldn't. If they had a kicker they're 2-1 right now.
Arkansas has ISSUES
UMass went into the Big House
Utah over BYU
Virginia Tech took a drubbing showing Pitt can do just fine in the ACC
Western Kentucky was brand new to this level of play two years ago and just beat SEC team Kentucky.

Wow. FSU has guys hold up big towels to try to block lip readers when their coach is yelling something. I have to assume they know other teams are doing it because they themselves are doing it

Wow. OSU Third stringer tweets classes are pointless because they came there to play football, not play school. It's pretty clear in his tweet he's been skipping English classes....since birth

SEC got greedy and invited in Tex AM. How they feelin bout it now? It only cost them a National Championship game

Funny how things can change in a couple of weeks.  At the end of the year, the SEC very well could end up with the national champion, the #2 team in the country (Florida, which will overtake a losing Notre Dame), and the Heisman Trophy winner.
