Interested in how Peyton Manning looked today, if anyone got to watch. Thanks.
Thanks and TP for this, Dons ... meant to do so earlier.Interested in how Peyton Manning looked today, if anyone got to watch. Thanks.
I got to watch since he was playing against the Bears.
He looked pretty good out there for a guy that hasn't seen game action in over a year. I thought he threw the ball well and the interception was on a deflection where you could argue that he threw behind the receiver.
If you were a Broncos fan, you'd have to be very encouraged especially after what they've had to deal with in the passing game the past few years.
Well Jay Cutler really showing he's a changed man. Throws a pick-6 before he completes a pass in the 2012 regular season. Nice.He seemed to be just fine.

Coming into the season, I was 100% sure that the Packers were being incredibly overrated by the media.
Today, the 49ers reinforced my confidence in the Packers' limitations. Yeah I know they got a great defense, but last year's game against the Giants was not a fluke. Rodgers has flaws just like Brady or Brees do, much to the dismay of ESPN or SI.
I went in with two vikes this year for fantasy, and right now it looks to be paying off. Kyle Rudolph and Percy Harvin look like they'll be options 1 and 1a in the offense for the pass, and they're two of the guys Ponder seems to have chemistry with. Good stuff.Coming into the season, I was 100% sure that the Packers were being incredibly overrated by the media.

And this Viking fan is smiling ear to ear. There's going to be a lot of long faces at work tomorrow. I can't wait to feast on their tears.

Peterson was announced as the starter before the game began. They don't start players they don't plan on giving 15-20 carries to. Peterson got 17 and the game went into OT. Ugh, I drafted AP and sat him because I believed what Frazier said(dumb I know). If I had kept him in, I wouldn't be praying for Rivers and Bey to give me 35 pts tonight. The guy I'm playing has Gates to make things even more difficult.

“Heard some talk out of the Bears: Packers secondary not working coverage, bigger receivers … we heard about it,” Woodson told Rachel Nichols of ESPN. “We understand that Jay is excited about his new weapons, but it’s the same-old Jay. We don’t need luck; Jay will throw us the ball.”

Ravens we out chea we gon see yall next week
Sanchez is completing less than 50% with 5 TDs and 4 ints. His rating is 69.2 And he has rushed 1 time for 4 yards. And now he loses Santonio Holmes. It's pretty clear where this is going.
The Jets are a train wreck. When your main dilemma is whether to have Sanchez or Tebow as your starting QB, you you're in trouble.Sanchez is completing less than 50% with 5 TDs and 4 ints. Rather have him than Brady ;)
Only in playoff games in Foxboro when the whole deck is stacked in favor of Brady.Sanchez is completing less than 50% with 5 TDs and 4 ints. His rating is 69.2 And he has rushed 1 time for 4 yards. And now he loses Santonio Holmes. It's pretty clear where this is going.

What if the dilemma is you're 1-4 with Kyle Orton as your starter and your goal is to get into the playoffs and beat the Steelers there? The Jets are a train wreck. Sure, and Mark Sanchez is tied for the NFL record for away playoff wins. Man, I did not expect the Texans to be taking the Ravens to the woodshed this badly.
Rules question: Tampa Bay just would have tied if not for penalty on the receiver for going out of bounds and then back in bounds for the catch. But the receiver was pushed out of bounds and then re-established himself in-bounds before catching the ball. I would think he would be eligible. What's the rule -- I can't imagine it's legal for a defensive player to push a player (beyond 5 yards, BTW) out of bounds and make that player ineligible.
Man are the Giants really going to blow a 23 point lead?To answer my own question, yup.

18 minutes of football left, but wow just wow.

You forgot about Bad Romo showing up in crunch time.
Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, and Matt Ryan. Who's MVP midway through the season?

Looking forward a bit: Week 15 of NFL action should have some very good games:
Denver at Baltimore
Green Bay at Chicago
SF at New England
HOW 'BOUT THEM 'SKINS...LOL!!
I haven't been THIS enthused about The Washington Redskins in quite a few years...we haven't been in a playoff hunt THIS late in the season very often here recently.
Robert Griffin The Third...I've said it before and I'll say it again - the man gives us a chance to win just about every game.
London Fletcher with an interception...Ryan Kerrigan with a sack..Alfred Morris with over 100 yds rushing...Santana Moss, Aldrick Robinson, Pierre Garcon, Niles Paul all with TDs.
Just a great TEAM win vs a dangerous opponent in DAL...Dez Bryant, Jason Whitten and Tony Romo are a DANGEROUS threesome.
Let the rivalry begin again!
Now off to WAS to face NY Giants...get em', WAS!!

RGIII and Luck are going to own this league for a long, long time -- barring career altering injuries.
Pretty amazing what both have done to elevate their respective franchises in their first season in the league. Both teams were atrocious just a season ago.

Merry GRIFFMas!!
Great Game!
Thank you, Washington Defense!!
Judging by the scores in the early games, the NFC playoff picture is setting up to be a real mess.

Drew Brees and Adrian Peterson ended my fantasy football season. 30 pts and 37 points respectively.
Chicago appears to have the game in hand.
Oh well, there goes the Giants season. Complacency sure sucks!

As a Patriot fan I'm happy, only because deep down I felt if the Giants somehow made it they were going to make a run for it again.
I agree though, the complacency the Giants have is mind boggling to me

I garuantee the NFC teams who are in the playoffs breathed one HUGE sigh of relief with the Giants being eliminated.
Such a [dang] disappointing season. I hope Caughlin retires. He didn't seem to be able to reach the players this year. They need a change.
Wow. Vikings take it but Peterson finishes just 9 yards shy.

Thank you ONCE AGAIN, Washington Defense!
Big plays when it counted...shutting down perhaps the most dangerous QB out there in Tony Romo.
I hope Jerry Jones doesn't go crazy this post-season and make unnecessary changes, lol...DAL still has a considerable amount of talent.
