WOW I'm floored the talent level on Celtics summer league team. Danny Ainge put together an allstar roster. He is one of the best talent evaluator. Decisions Decisions Decisions.

Thing is, it isn't just offense (which is great) we are actually playing defense. Xmas saying "Season's Greetings!" out there on these rookies!

Notice Danny didn't mention JJJ's name not ONCE. He was at the foul line and Mitch said something about him and Danny replied but that was IT as far as where he sees them contributing to the team this season. Sully and Fab are gonna get burn this season for sure. Choice is gonna be between Xmas, Smith and Moore. I think KJ makes the team hands down.

Yep. He said JJJ is going to have to play some 3 (mainly for his benefit but also for us) and that he feels he goes to the fall-away too much (they were talking about his length and defense and DA didn't say anything LOL)... the way DA was talking (not) probably says a lot about what he thinks of JJJ... not a lot LOL.

DA likes him as a scorer. He said he needs to cut more, and attack the basket. DA also said, they had internal discussions working him as small forward. Johnson can spread the floor very well. Wishes JJ takes take less fall away J's.

Said... Xmas has been really good on both ends! KJ has been most solid! ETM has been really good and is like an Eddie House shooter (not afraid either). Said smith has been good. Melo, great quarters and other quarters shows he needs a lot of work. Sully doesn't need much help... really good all around player/shooter (needs to work on long shooting more b/c of taller players blocking him) but has a high bball IQ!
