Billups was not on the court for shoot-around (he was getting treatment on his left knee strain), but according to D'Antoni there is some optimism that the veteran point guard may return for Game 3, which is Friday at Madison Square Garden. The extra day in the schedule certainly helps.
"I think it's possible," D'Antoni said. "He says he feels a lot better today than he did yesterday."

They looked pretty bad in the first game of the Heat series last year though. They were down 14 at one point during the thrid quarter (and went on to win the game). Game 2 they were obviously a lot better as they blew them out and game 3 came down to the wire.
I don't know, I think it might take a few games for the Celtics to come together. Just my opinion though...

I thought our number one priority for this postseason was not to get bullied on the glass like we did in The Finals last year? Well, here we are, Game 2 of the playoffs, against a team that doesn't even rebound well, down 12-4 in offensive boards at halftime, allowing a team missing two of its three best players and shooting 32% to be BEATING US at half. The twelve offensive boards are crazy. That Jeff Green/Baby frontcourt was all kinds of horrible on the boards.
Knicks shooting under 33% but are outrebounding us by 9, 8 offensive. Instead of keeping Green on the perimeter, why not have him crash the boards like he did in the last two games of the season? We're more worried about slowing down their fastbreak and getting back on D that we let ourselves get outrebounded.

Well you should. If I remember correctly, Amare was in there so was Turiaf. Doc hates gambling period. He doesn't like going away from his 'game plan' to match the opponents. Let's not forget BBD closes games for us. He did that even in our days with Perkins.
I'm not disagreeing with you on this one. I do not think BBD should play this many minutes at all. I'd much rather have Green play the role BBD is playing right now. Switch their minutes and just go even smaller with Green. That's just not how Doc plays this game. He knows what he can get out of BBD and prefers someone who knows the system better than the others.

Knicks put everything they had on th table -- which was a bunch of underskilled NBA players who were willing to battle hard -- and who hit some big shots and played pretty aggressively on the defensive end.
Credit the Knicks for a terrific effort. And, credit the C's for not allowing a less talented team to steal a win.
