At this moment in time, I think Shaq's team defense in general is abysmal. Earlier in the season, he was a flawed team defender but at least he was making good interior defensive rotations ... but since coming back from the injuries, I'm not seeing those. Next year, the Celtics will enter the beginning phases of rebuilding. I think Del Negro would be fine in that role. In fact, he could grow with the team.

10 of the 16 fouls called on the celtics came AFTER they were up by 13. Conversely, in the same span they called 9 fouls on the cavs.
So when the calls were 6-4, the celtics were up 13. Suddenly, 10 straight fouls for the cavs and the game is close again.
I think for the most part the C's have been called correctly for their fouls. My issues it that Cleveland is playing a similar style of physical defense, and aren't being called for similar infractions.
