I'm sure he will tell us that both teams played hard.

He will be the first person to ever get thrown out of his own blog.

Yeah that caught my attention as well, there are so many teams ahead of them as being real championship contenders. After their listless performance in game 1, you have to put the top four teams in the west ahead of them. If the Pistons managed to lose to the Cavs in the ECF last year, who knows who they are capable of losing to.

It's a shame to me when a player with so much talent and ability, completely undermines himself and his team, by regularly spewing such verbal detritus and vitriole, (but are any of us really surprised?). Sheed, you need to take heed to this creed: "It is better to remain quiet and be thought a fool, then to open one's mouth and remove all doubt!"

granted, but really, what do you want him to say on a fan blog?

"we know were not that good anymore, we're looking to exit gracefully to the cavs or celtics in the ECF and go golfing."

of course he's going to say there awesome, he knows its going to be read and reported on  :)

Something like that  ;)

I just think it sounds so overconfident:
"...in the midst of snatchin another title".
You know, like the rest of the league will
say, "Oh, yeah, he's right, we might as well
bow down"

I'll tell you this:
Overconfidence will get you nowhere, that goes
for the Celtics, too...

Agreed, not only is it overconfidence, but arrogance. The Pistons, after last years poor playoff performance, after this years second place eastern conference performance, and after their performance in game one against the Sixers, have nothing to be arrogant about.
