Trade Rozier, Yabu, and Morris plus future Memphis pick for Plumlee and ATL pick.

Trading Rozier allows to keep Smart.  Trading Morris gives more minutes to Brown and Tatum. Getting Plumlee gives us a backup center to play behind Horford and Theis.

His contract is bad though, is it worth it?

Do we take Doncic if we get the ATL pick?

Miles, the one with the awful contract traded for Dwight Howard

Sure, we are a capped out team. If the owners want to pay some extra tax for a lottery pick I'd be all for it.

I don't think ATL has any interest in a salary dump, they want to get an elite talent with that pick. Any trade would just be a trade down to get value and the guy they wanted anyway. (ala the PHI/BOS trade to move down and still get Tatum)

If you can Doncic for Rozier,Yabu, Morris and a pick you do it.

There's zero chance Atlanta is moving the #3 pick just to save on Plumlee next year, who makes $12M.

Miles Plumlee, two more years on contract, 12.5 mill for each.

I'd do the trade the OP suggests in a heartbeat, IMO you dont get the #3 pick without giving the Sac pick or better talent in exchange.

It’s basically Rozier and Memphis pick for Doncic. I wouldn’t use Sacto pick because it could be top 5 next year.  Taking on Plumlee sweetens the deal for them. Getting Rozier makes it easier for them to deal Schroeder.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Why would ATL do this lol.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

Rozier may not be worth it to them but his play in the playoffs has to make them at least look twice.
