IT has played wall pretty decently in the past, even going back to his sacramento days

I'm fine with sticking to the starting 5 including Green and giving expanded minutes to Jerebko who has a card to play in this series.

Who starts at PF isnt to much of a concern to me. How BS is going to hide IT is really worrisome. The only player in the Wizards playoff rotation who I feel comfortable with IT guarding is 15mpg Brandon Jennings. Aside from Jennings they have a roster full of big capable scoring threats.

The easiest and most likely solution is to go with IT vs Wall however coming off of a series where he averaged almost 30ppg and shot well from 3 this scares me.

Why?  He has done nothing all year to help this team.  This must be sarcasm.

Amir will be back in the starting lineup imo for this series. Then again, what do I know? C's might just strategy 4 guards.

Love the fact that we have Smart and AB to cover Wall and Beal.

Who do we hide IT on?

Don't like Green vs Morris matchup, maybe start Jerebko
Johnson is a better match with Morris in this round I believe.  I don't know if GG can handle him. BS will have to make a big decision here.  GG was a huge difference maker last round.

It would not surprise me to see Smart start and IT come off the bench.  IT will be just returning from an emotional trip back to Tacoma.  If he knows his role is as a shooter/6th man, it may make the transition easier.  Hey, but what the heck do I know.

I'm spoiled seeing the Celtic with the speedy, athletic Green on the floor. I like him as a bailout scoring option. Washington is a guard orientated team. I'd start Green and see how he does before putting Amir back as a starter.

The C's are a team defensively that switches often to hide IT.

Playing him one on one on either Washington guard is not a good idea. Normally Crowder, or who ever is at SF slides over to switch with IT to provide better D. IT then turns into a kind of free safety. That forces the opposing team to find the open man by the pass. Hopefully they don't have a Rondo up their sleeve.

Because Rondo was such a great passer, and floor general, this didn't work on the Bulls, hopefully it will on Washington.

I'll admit, I'm a little worried about Crowder defending Morris.  Morris is taller, at least as strong, and possibly even more athletic.

Morris might be able to make us pay on the boards in ways much similar to how Chicago did in the beginning of that series.  Morris will probably kill Crowder in that regard if Washington decides to have him crash the offensive glass.

On the opposite, Crowder, if he hits any shots, can space out their defense along with Horford pulling Gortat out of the lane.  IT, when he has any space, is very tough.  Horford's presence there is a major reason in the big jump we saw in IT's scoring this year.

There's a give and take there, but I'm a bit worried Morris will outplay Crowder.  At his best, he's more than capable.

Celts would have a better chance to win this series with AB , Smart starting and slowing down Wall, Beal

And IT4 coming off the bench and torching their 2nd unit

That will never happen (nor should it). But, I could see Smart starting instead of Green. Gives you your 2 best defenders to start off on Wall/Beal and then you can hide IT on Otto Porter.
